And They're Off!!!

After Harrison's day at the ballpark, it was then Chris's turn at the track. We spent June 14th at Arlington Race Track in Chicago - what a beautiful place...and what a beautiful day! It was "Salute to the Troops" day and as part of the celebration of our men and women in arms we saw a special parachute jump from the Army's Black Daggers - it was amazing to see...and they all landed right at the finish line of the track!



Oh, and I know you all have the same burning question...did you hit it big on the races??? Well, if we did I probably would be able to pay someone to do this for me (so the answer is NO). But Chris and Harrison had a good time watching the races - it's a whole different experience when you can get trackside (literally) to see the horses go by.











And, while Chris was betting some horses, Harrison got the chance to ride one.

I was just happy to have a day out in the beautiful sunshine.
